Children of the Sun follows Ethan Price, a reclusive agoraphobe, as he finally decides to leave his Queens garage apartment to get back out in the world and find his sister, whom he was separated from when they were children in the foster care system.

What starts as a day of new beginnings quickly becomes Ethan’s worst nightmare as he is pursued by the Fallen, winged humans from Caelum who have made Earth their home and feast on the flesh of the few Earthly humans who can see them. Fortunately, though it is not their purpose, Ethan is being protected by a group of winged warriors known as the Watchers.

Ethan’s life quickly becomes a whirlwind of events, each one further shattering his understanding of the world in which he lives. Pursued relentlessly by Samael, the leader of the Fallen, Ethan must fight for his life as he unravels the lies hiding the truth about his past, Earth, and the human race. But he soon learns that he, and the world, have a problem much bigger than the Fallen.
